Check your laptop before ordering.

Buddy On Screen products are compatible with almost every modern laptop that meets the relevant size, operating-system and connection requirements.

Because two laptops that look similar can have completely different ports, always check your exact model before ordering.

Find Your Exact Laptop Model

The laptop brand alone is not enough. We need the complete model name or model number.

Windows

Open Settings → System → About and look for the model or device information.

macOS

Open the Apple menu → About This Mac and copy the model name, screen size and year.

The model number may also be printed on the underside of your laptop.

Check Your Laptop Size

Measure the laptop screen diagonally from one visible corner to the opposite corner, excluding the outer frame.

Available configurations:

• X2 Pro: 14″ and 16″

• X3 Pro: 14″ and 16″

• T3 Premium: 14″, 16″ and 18.5″

Check Your Ports

Look for USB-C, Thunderbolt, HDMI and USB-A ports on both sides of your laptop.

Not every USB-C port supports video. Some USB-C ports support only charging or data.

A video-capable USB-C port may display a Thunderbolt or DisplayPort symbol. However, checking the technical specifications of your exact laptop remains the safest option.

X2 Pro Connection

Cable count and external power requirements depend on your laptop’s ports and video-output capabilities.

X3 Pro and T3 Premium Connection

One compatible video-capable USB-C connection links the display system to your laptop. The included external power adapter must also be connected for stable operation.

X3 Pro and T3 Premium require a short first-time driver installation.
