Setup Guides

Your expanded workspace in a few steps.

Always use the cables, adapter and instructions supplied with your exact Buddy On Screen model.

Place your laptop and display system on a clean, stable surface before beginning. Never force the displays, hinges or support components.

X2 Pro Setup

Step 1: Open the displays

Carefully unfold both side displays.

Step 2: Position the system

Secure the X2 Pro around your compatible laptop and make sure the support is stable.

Step 3: Connect the displays

Use the supplied cables that match your laptop’s available ports. Depending on your laptop, an additional power connection may be required.

Step 4: Arrange your desktop

Open your operating system’s display settings, choose the extended-desktop option and move the displays into the correct order.

X3 Pro Setup

Step 1: Position the system

Place the X3 Pro securely behind your laptop on a stable surface.

Step 2: Open the displays

Unfold the two side displays and carefully raise the upper display.

Step 3: Connect power

Connect the supplied external power adapter.

Step 4: Install the driver

Complete the required first-time driver installation.

Step 5: Connect your laptop

Connect the X3 Pro to a compatible video-capable USB-C port.

T3 Premium Setup

Step 1: Position the stand

Place the T3 Premium on a stable surface and make sure the integrated stand is fully supported.

Step 2: Open the displays

Carefully unfold and position all three displays.

Step 3: Connect power

Connect the supplied external power adapter.

Step 4: Install the driver

Complete the required first-time driver installation.

Step 5: Connect your laptop

Use the supplied USB-C cable to connect the T3 Premium to a compatible video-capable USB-C port.

Windows Display Settings

  1. Open Settings → System → Display.

  2. Select Identify to see the number assigned to each screen.

  3. Choose Extend these displays.

  4. Drag the display boxes until they match the physical arrangement.

  5. Adjust resolution, scaling and orientation if necessary.

macOS Display Settings

  1. Open System Settings → Displays.

  2. Set every additional screen as an extended display.

  3. Open the arrangement settings.

  4. Drag the displays until they match their physical positions.

  5. Adjust the resolution and scaling if necessary.
